Simply put, a “back translation” is the translation back into English of a document that was previously translated from English into another language.  At the request of the client, DTS will perform an English back translation of any file that has been translated into nearly any language.  A back translation can be a useful tool in measuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of a translation.

DTS regularly fulfills requests for Pharmaceutical or Medical back translations.  The back translation of ICFs, HIPAA forms, and Study Protocols (which we have already translated into another language) are common.  However, we can back translate many different types of documents which have been translated into another language.
